KHAKI FEVER AFRICA - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Khaki Fever Africa (Pty) Ltd. (the company) is a registered South African company Reg: 2022/824802/07.

(Abbreviation KFA.)

As a Tour Operator, we fulfil the following functions for our clients:

Safari Planning Service

Khaki Fever offer a range of travel related services including the following:

The structuring and packaging of itineraries for individuals, couples, families and small to medium sized groups, where each itinerary is tailored according to the specific needs of the group.

Special interest safaris including wildlife, bird viewing, social anthropology, botany and marine ecology.
Safaris catering to the Sport and Adventure enthusiast including golf, fishing, diving,
snorkelling, canoeing, whitewater rafting, and a host of activities for the high adventure adrenaline seekers.

Reservations

All bookings / enquiries must be emailed to Khaki Fever Africa Central Reservations Office. No reservation must be assumed to be booked, confirmed, amended or cancelled without written confirmation from the Khaki Fever Africa Reservations Office.

Confirmation and Payment process

All Bookings and Reservations need to be confirmed in writing via e-mail. Once Confirmation is received from the client an Invoice on the Khaki Fever Africa Letterhead will be presented to the client for settlement.
Payment Terms and Conditions will differ depending on the Payments T’s&C’s of the supplier and or the timeframe prior to the date of travel. Payment conditions will be determined as part of the quotation presented and itemised on the Proforma Invoice presented.
All payments to be made to the Khaki Fever Africa bank account specified on the invoice.
Payments can be made via EFT, International Bank Transfer or via the Nedbank iVeri online payment portal.
International Currency payments – some SADC and East Africa travel suppliers charge in US Dollars. The invoice can be presented in either US$ or ZAR (South African Rands). The US$ amounts can be paid into a US$ currency account linked to Khaki Fever Africa’s current account. Where US$ payment is the option details of the US$ account will be presented on the invoice.
Credit Card Payments – If client chooses to pay by Credit Card the invoice will be amended to include a 3,5% Credit Card charge. All Credit Card payments to be made via the Nedbank iVeri online payment portal. A secure payment link will be sent to the client for settlement. Credit Cards accepted for payment – Visa, Mastercard, American Express only.

Cancellation Policy

60 days prior to arrival: 0% cancellation fee

59 - 45 days prior to arrival: 30% cancellation fee

44 – 30 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee

29 – 0 day prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee

All no shows whether FIT or Group will be charged 100% cancellation fees

Force Majeure

The Company cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of any of our contractual obligations in whole or partially is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of “force majeure”.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by Khaki Fever Africa is subject to T’s&C’s of suppliers. In cases of unavailability, Khaki Fever Africa (Pty) Ltd. will refund the client, less a small administration fee, within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 4 % administration fee.

If for any reason cancellation is due to a supplier cancellation Khaki Fever Africa will abide by T’s&C’s of the supplier/s concerned and abide by the refund conditions of the supplier itself.

Chargeback policy

Any payment made by Credit Card can be reversed if a transaction is deemed fraudulent, due to billing errors, or non-delivery of service. A customer can dispute a charge directly with their bank, whereupon a process is instituted to verify the claim. The ‘companies’ online payment portal via Nedbank iVeri requires online verification that can be determined by the bank and credit card company. Any billing error, once confirmed, will be addressed with an immediate refund to the Cardholder. All supplier related concerns in terms of service delivery will be subject to supplier T’s&C’s.

Insurance

We advise all Clients take out adequate insurance cover such as cancellation due to illness, accident or injury, personal accident and personal liability, loss of or damage to baggage and sports equipment.

The Company nor its suppliers will be responsible or liable if the client fails to take adequate insurance cover or at all. It shall not be obligatory upon the Company to effect insurance for the client except upon detailed instructions given in writing and all insurance effected by the Company pursuant to such instruction will be subject to such exceptions and conditions as may be imposed by the insurance company or underwriters accepting the risk, and the Company shall not be obliged to obtain separate cover for any risks so excluded.

Your personal information belongs to you and it is important for Khaki Fever Africa (Pty) Ltd. to protect the personal information you share with us. KFA carries out all the handling of personal data in accordance with the applicable rules for processing personal data. This Privacy Policy applies to all our customers, suppliers and associates.

Khaki Fever Africa (Pty) Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the South African Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Responsibility

Khaki Fever Africa (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Khaki Fever Africa (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication, Khaki Fever Africa (Pty) Ltd.

Variation

Khaki Africa (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
